Friends of Falmouth Bikeways

Friends of Falmouth Bikeways is a non-profit, membership organization dedicated to the support of bicycling and  bikeways in Falmouth, Massachusetts.  Your membership is fully tax-deductible as a donation under the provisions of section 501 (c) 3 of the Internal Revenue Code. 

What We Do

Friends of Falmouth Bikeways is dedicated to protecting and preserving  Falmouth bikepaths including the Shining Sea Bikeway.  We help maintain this valuable community resource and help ensure a fun, safe and positive experience for everyone.

To help maintain the Shining Sea Bikeway, we have established a Stewardship Program.  Stewards, both individual or businesses can adopt a portion of the Shinning Sea Bikeway and make sure the path and the intersections are clean and safe.  This includes a litter patrol and some clipping/cutting brush back if needed.

Additionally, the Friends hope to compliment, support and promote bike safety and bike activities throughout  Falmouth. 

Please remember to wear your helmet when biking and give an audible signal when passing other users on the bikepath!
